Funded Trader Program in India: How Tradeshala Trains You
A funded trader program lets you trade a prop firm's capital instead of your own, once you pass its evaluation. Tradeshala's 12-week program prepares Indian traders for those evaluations through live global futures training, strict risk rules and mentor review.
What a funded trader program actually is
Prop firms such as FundedNext, Funding Pips, Maven and My Funded Futures offer evaluation accounts. You trade within fixed profit targets and loss limits; if you pass, you receive a funded account and a share of profits.
Most traders fail these evaluations because of risk mistakes, not lack of strategy. That is the gap Tradeshala's training focuses on.
What you learn in the 12 weeks
The Funded Trader Program is built around global derivatives (futures) and the rules prop firms enforce.
- Market structure, liquidity and price action on futures charts
- Position sizing, daily loss limits and maximum drawdown management
- A written trading plan and journal reviewed by mentors
- Live market sessions and simulated evaluation practice
- Choosing a prop firm and reading its rules before you pay
Batch size and format
Each batch is capped at 30 students so mentors can review individual trades. Sessions run live online, with recordings and community support between classes.
Who it suits
Working professionals, students and part-time traders in India who want a structured, rules-based route toward prop firm evaluations. See the eligibility guide for details.
Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. Tradeshala provides education and evaluation preparation; it does not guarantee funding, profits or payouts. Funded accounts are issued by independent prop firms under their own rules.
